      绝经后骨质疏松症(postmenopausal osteoporosis,PMOP)属于影响女性健康的重大公共医疗卫生问题。传统中医学中有“以通为补”的理论,它通过疏通经络和调节气血,达到促进骨骼健康的目的,最近逐渐受到临床研究人员的关注。本文基于中医的“以通为补”理论,讨论其在PMOP的预防与治疗中的指导作用。该理论重视气血通畅为补益根本的观点,与PMOP肾虚为本、瘀滞为标病理特点一致。文章主要分析了益气温经法,该方法重在温经通络,益气补肾,代表方药强骨饮可能通过调节骨保护素(OPG)/核因子κB受体活化因子配体(RANKL)/核因子κB受体活化因子(RANK)等骨骼代谢途径以善骨重建的平衡,期望为中医药防治PMOP的临床应用及进一步机制研究起到一定的参考作用。

      Postmenopausal osteoporosis (PMOP) is a major public health issue affecting women's health. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) contains the theory of tonification through unblocking, which promotes bone health by unblocking meridians and regulating qi-blood circulation. This theory has recently attracted increasing attention from clinical researchers. Based on TCM's tonification through unblocking theory, this paper discusses its guiding role in PMOP prevention and treatment. The theory emphasizes that smooth qi-blood flow is the foundation of tonification, aligning with PMOP's pathological characteristics where kidney deficiency serves as the root cause while blood stasis acts as the manifestation. The article primarily analyzes the tonifying qi and warming meridians method, which focuses on warming meridians, unblocking collaterals, and tonifying qi to nourish kidneys. A representative formula, Strong-bone decoction, may balance bone remodeling by regulating bone protective protein (OPG)/receptor κB-activated nuclear factor ligand (RANKL)/receptor κB-activated nuclear factor (RANK) pathways. This study aims to provide reference for the clinical application of TCM in PMOP prevention and treatment, as well as further research on its mechanisms.
